Default how to plan Camino de Santiago hike???

Looking into this pilgrimage hike that I first heard about from Bob Peoples during my thru hike this year..I'm trying to Google info...I'm hoping my friends on whiteblaze can point me in the right direction on planning this. Guide books? Hostels? General hike info...anyone hike it?

Here's the most recent thread from WB's "Other Trails" forum: http://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/show...9990-el-Camino

You can also go to Other Trails and use the search feature - simply type "Camino" and other threads will pop up.

Hammock Hanger just finished her trek. Check out her trail journal.

The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

http://www.de95.dial.pipex.com/04camino/040009d1.htm it is a list of books that have some guides. I've read 'The Pilgrimage' by Paulo Coelho - Camino de Santiago de ... and it is a good read. This is one of the hikes I have always wanted to do.

IMO - nice scenery, mildly entertaining, pretty good acting and nice to see long distance hiking in a movie.. but tons of cliches, not particularly funny, and no real reason to care about the characters

The Camino is full of cliches so maybe that's why I liked the movie so much. I walked the Camino Frances last year and just got back from serving as a hospitalera. Feel free to PM with specific questions. I can direct you to some good websites too.
