    Happy birthday brother!
If people spent less time being offended and more time actually living, we'd all be a whole lot happier!

To all my brother Marines, Happy Birthday and Semper Fi!

Have any of you ever considered a one day event where we could get Marines and friends to sponsor us to hike X miles of the trail and we would have hikers stretched from Ga to Maine all on the trail at the same time and we collectively cover the entire trail in one day?
Everything we earn would go to Wounded Warrior.

I think all the responders qualify as..... not so green and not so mean, but we're all still Marines!

That's Marines with a capital M. And it's true, the Marines are a department of the Navy. Fortunately, we're the men's department.

Default Birthday greetings from the UK.

Birthday greetings from my siblings/relatives (members of the British SAS). I cleared this post with them prior to posting. Nothing but mutual respect here.

Thanks so much. I was priviledged to work with both the Royal Marines and the 148 Commando (specialized naval gunfire spotters of the Royal Army that worked mostly with the Royal Marines). Great people. As long as they're on your side.

Another Marine Corps birthday is on us. Many of our brothers and sisters are still in the bad places, pray for them, for a safe return. My nephew is back from the desert safe and sound and on his way to Oki. Happy birthday to all my brothers & sisters, and God Speed to those still in harms way. SEMPER FIDELIS

This post has spanned a year now. Happy Birthday to all my brothers and sisters in arms. US Marines one and all.
I start out the Day with nothing and by the end of the Day I still have most of it.
