    Default 13 days and a wake-up

Time is getting short, but due to an odd disruption in the space-time continuum, time has slowed down to a snail's pace.

OK - I thought it was just me! The folks at work are ready to see me go! I agree it seems like the day will never get here!

I have five weeks to go. Time is slowing down, but my level of panic is increasing exponentially.

My start date is delayed a bit. In a way, I'm bummed about not being on Springer the first day of spring, but 2005 is still the year of my thruhike. It will just begin a little later than planned, that's all.
