I third that, my head is ready to explode..mild winter might have to head out for a weekend
We keep getting the threat of seasonal temps and weather in the next week or so. While its going to be cold this weekend, the air seems like it may stay dry. I do think winter is going to catch up soon, but it won't be a long end to winter. Feel like the 60's are not too far away. I really want to get out. May have to hike soon.
I'm just glad we are under the 6 month mark, ordered a new sleeping bag the other day! Will be doing some hiking once it cools off down here, we are in peak summer, although this one is nothing compared to normal.
This is tentatively on my docket sometime in July if ridgerunning falls through (job not looking too promising with all the returnees this year, sigh)

Nobo/ Sobo?
NOBO for me.
Southbound
I'm just waiting.. Got my LT map and guide. Figure I'll start on the logistics in May-June.
No gear issues or anything to buy - planning on spending the next few months on the AT between Roan Mt. and Hot Springs and the Foothills Trail again in SC...
Planning on completing a NOBO end-to-end, starting in mid June. This will be my first long distance hike, and a great way to spend some of my summertime between my sophomore and junior year in high school.
Cool, may actually see you out there
Yea but for an e2e, ID rather be out in summer. Also the logistics of taking time off of work and school won't allow me to get out. Ill def be out in a couple of months
Starting to plan the first hike of the spring !!!! Time to get my fat a** in shape!
Well my luck has changed it seems and I will doing an E-2-E! I will be starting August 11th, and heading SOBO. Don't need any gear or anything, just need the next 5 months to fly by
