I wouldn't do it. a flashing white blaze on a pack could look like the flash of white tail on a deer. Just asking for trouble.

Good point, even when it isn't hiking season not a great idea.
Also, I picture 100 like minded hikers leading themselves astray following a virtual moving trail to nowhere. lol
