    Default Anyone NoBo February 1st?

As originally planned, and posted, I'll be starting out that Wednesday. I will, however, be heading in from FS 42 rather than taking the approach.

Anyone else starting a thru or section hike then?

    Cheers...

    Monk

Folks that are starting well ahead of 'normal' --- don't underrate how keenly people will be watching for any blog or WB forum posts by you describing trail conditions, and in particular anything that helps inform those coming after you as to last minute gear selection and/or food required between resupply points, etc. Great way to "pay it forward": make notes of the things you would most want to know if you were starting a bit later, and write up and post those when you can.

    Default Thanks

Thanks a bunch and best wishes on your hike, seasparrow. If I do get sick (knock on my head), I may end up seeing a lot of you anyway. I'll pull off somewhere and rest up. Rocketsocks, thank you very much indeed. A very happy and healthy birthday to you and best wishes. By the by, excellent trail names, you two.

I also sell cheaper ones.I could let ya have a cheap throw "down name"for the times in a trail town bar and your questionable tent guest by some chance wants to know your name for some odd reason.Say...14 cents now thats a good deal!

I've looked at it plenty and I have no idea why people post the things they do...including this post of yours. I suppose some people just need to bitch. As I posted in your thread, Swamprat, best wishes on your hike.
