Default Best elevation map for GSMNP

Is there a better elevation guide than the one in the National Geographic GSMNP Trails Illustrated Map? I like the Nantahala map better. Thanks!

I've never seen one. That space they use up for that pathetic so-called elevation profile on the NAT GEO makes me wonder what the editors are thinking each time they review that map.

"Hiking The Appalachian Trail Thru Great Smoky Mountain National Park" is a better one I have seen so far from GSMA.http://shop.smokiesinformation.org/p...in-the-Smokies

Wish I had known about the GSMA map that Attila mentions before I sectioned GSMNP last October. Oh well. At least the maps available nowadays are a lot more readable than they were in the 70's.
