Default Lowa Khumba GTX Mid boot.....go figure....

best boot I've ever had...have worn one pair for years in the Sierras!! i have a wide boot, size 11.5....now I find out this model is discontinued....

Anyone know or have any idea what would be a comfortable and similar replacement...I know, very difficult question!!

I have tried all kinds of boots over the years. From military to civilian. Now, I am on my second pair of Tibet Pro boots and they are GREAT even though a little heavy. I also have Lowa, Terek GTX (not Trekker) and Lowa, Renegade GTX. As for a light pair I have Zephyer Desert GTX for out west here. You might start to see a trend here. All of the Lowa boots are wonderful. With the Tibet's and the Terek you have to be a little careful in fit. I had to go up a full size to get them to fit well. Especially in the toe box area. But when they fit, you can't ask for a better, long lasting boot.

    Good Luck!
