    Default where are the thru hikers?

    does anyone know if there are any thru hikers in the area around Davenport Gap?

    Lately, 3 or 4 per day come into Standing Bear. Not everyone stops there.

    A few days ago I met Second Stage at Jerry's Cabin shelter.She started about 1-4.She should be north of Erwin by now...

    She left Erwin this past weekend.....her husband called Bob Peoples Saturday to make sure Kincora was open.

    Agreed. I'm thinking Curtis has a better handle on his visitors than moldy or anyone else....but I could be wrong, you never know, he could of been hibernating or hanging with LW for the past couple of weeks.

    Second stage sounds familiar.. maybe I have read her trail journal? i've been reading quitea few trail journals

    I'll let Curtis confirm or deny this info at his discretion, but I can say he knows more about the comings and goings at SB Hostel than anyone else on here. Looking forward to hitting SB again this Spring.

    She did most of the trail in 2010 and yes, she does have a current journal on Trail Journals....

    Sounds good, i was just wondering how many people were going to be on the trail an at the shelters this weekend

    I don't know where you got your information.. but, i recently hiked from davenport gap to Allen gap and there no way 3 or 4 people go to standing bear per day.. i saw 3.. maybe.. 4 backpackers the whole trip.. just to let you know
