    Default Mohawk Trail in Connecticut

(I reposted this from Special Points of Interest Forum in hope of getting more traffic)

Starting at Cornwall Bridge the Mohawk Trail leaves the AT and reconnects around the Warren Turnpike, this is about a 30 mile blue blaze and mostly old AT. What would the possibility be of following this blue blaze instead of the traditional AT route?

I know just north of Cornwall Bridge along the Mohawk trail is private property owned by the Dark Entry Forest Association and you cannot camp along that section, but what about the rest of the distance? Any good places to camp? There isn't alot of helpful information on this trail out there.

I've hiked the white blazes in connecticut more times then I care to count and am looking for something new, anyone ever done this section before?
Why am I a wizard?? Thats simple...I am where the trail magic is...

i want to do it at some point. supposedly it does connect to the AT on both ends. ive spent a small amount of time trying to locate where and didnt have much luck. i think at least one end involves a short roadwalk to connect them.

the connecticut walkbook west supposedly has a lot of info on it.

Two older threads on the Mohawk Trail. From what people say the CT walk book has more info, but my copies of that are probably so old that it was still the AT.
