    Default this is it

rented a car from budget and we're leaving tonight to drive down to athens, where a friend will shuttle us to the trailhead and we'll begin the biggest trip of our lives thus far. wish us luck!

if anyone sees a short asian girl with a kangaroo hat on, you'll most likely find the rest of us somewhere near by. don't be afraid to say hello! 3 guys and 2 girls, no trail names yet.

good luck and best wishes. frankly, I think Carl Carlson in and of itself will work quite well as a trail name as there has never been anyone sign a trail register or post here on WB under that name as far as I know but with that being said, most of us would urge you to be receptive to the suggestions of other hikers vis-a-vis your trail name. Once you get the trail name thing straightened out, the pressure is off and the rest of the walk is more or less a piece of cake. Make sure to partake of the pancakes both at Upper Goose Pond and that fish camp right outside Carratunk and check out the massive blueberry bush about 1/2 day south of Dalton. That's about it but get a PBR and a sandwich at the Doyle. and the chinese buffet at Waynesboro. do you intend on keeping a trail journal?
