Thumbs up Downtown North Conway free stay and shuttles

Trail Magic in Downtown North Conway. Short walk to beach on Saco River. Camping, bunks, kitchen, internet. Close to EVERYTHING. ALL are welcome. Unlimited stay. Slack pack, too.
We are Doc, Llama and Coy. Coy's no longer with us but we got another dog. We hiked the AT in '98, and '03 and PCT in '02. We really want to give back to the trail, meet hikers, and see old friends. North Conway's not a huge AT trail town because it's not as close to the trail as others, but we offer free shuttles and have space in our van for more than 10 people.

LLAMA- (781)534-0135 I prefer text messages rather than phone calls, since I tend to be in places with a weak cell signal.

Great area, Llama. I head that way every chance I get.

I'll keep down your phone numbers and keep that in mind.

If you offer the shuttles, which spot would you prefer to do the pick-up? I'd assume Pinkham Notch, since it's the closest/most convenient from what I see. If that's the case, I'll most likely take you up on your offer when I'm passing through that area on my thru this year.

Hey, Walker, it's Doc. It doesn't matter to us. It's the same drive either way.

I will definitely consider this as an option for my Pinkham Notch to Rangeley section hike this September, as I'm concerned about motel availability that time of year.

Are there any workable slacking sections north of Gorham?

Kerosene. As far as we know there aren't any good slacking sections north of Gorham that are close to us. Let us know if you find one!
