When you reach hot springs, stay with Chuck Norris at the hostel right there on the trail! Movie nights on Saturday, too. $12 for a bunk and $20 for a private room. Cheapest place in town and Chuck is the nicest person in a town full of nice people

it's the old jesuit church hostel right as you come off the AT northbound into town

Sunny bank in Has been in Hot Springs for over 30 years on 26 walnut st 9828-622-7206) and yes the old Jesuit hostel has reopened under a new name,( laughing heart Hostel) < no phone # yet - Duckett house is gone/ closed there is a new spring creek tavern good beer food mediocre at best and the Smoky mt Diner best bang for the buck, The iron Horse is ok but not great, New place at campground (The take out" good food

Stayed at Laughing Heart on its 4th day of being open. Can't beat a private room for $20. The hostel was very clean and comfortable.
