Very nice! Well done. Only one comment:

Your workout should include both cardiovascular and aerobic exercise.

    Default Weight of External Pack

Can someone tell me how much an external pack should weigh? I am not into ultra light, but don't want to lug a heavy pack. I have a Kelti and it weighs about 9 pounds by irself. Thanks. -SunnyWalker

Sunnywalker, it's not unusual to see pack, tent, sleeping bag, pad, pot and stove weigh less than 9 lbs total.

That's actually longer than my journal from my entire trip. Probably more useful, though.

Could you also post this as an attachment, in Word format or as an Adobe PDF? That would make it easier to print (for me at least) and use. And it would have page numbers.

That's great. If you'd like it transferred into Adobe PDF, let me know by PM and I'll do it for you and send it back.

    Smile Always look

    Learned on Outward Bound:

When you get up from taking a break, walk a few paces and then look behind you. Did you leave anything? This works great in real like too, i. e., in restaurants, etc.

Commonly referred to as the "idiot check" and I've never been to Outward Bound.

I do that instinctively, leaving a shelter, campsite, or any rest stop -- because of the knowledge that I will probably never be at that same spot again. (And of course, remembering the effort it took to get to that spot in the first place.)
