    Default 48 hours, 65 miles, Keys Gap to Caledonia

    How crazy does that sound? Three fit hikers with day packs only. Plan to take several long breaks, but not planning to sleep. Shenanigans?

    Not all that crazy at all. Many could do that in under 24 hours. The elevation gain is very moderate compared with many other sections.

    Sounds like the four-state challenge, except with an extra 24 hours to manage an extra 15 miles or so in PA. I don't really see the need to skip a night's sleep.
    Though much is taken, much abides, and though
    We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
    One equal temper of heroic hearts.

    They should be able to pull this off easily. Just keep walking...

    Sounds like we need to up the ante! Thanks for the input.
