AT Springer starting April 14

I was hoping I could find a hiking partner or at least someone who is starting the same day as me. I will be starting out on the Approach Trail April 14. I will be starting with around 8 mile days, and will be resupplying along the trail with the exception of one food drop.

Have fun. I start Apr 12 from Dick's Creek. Also hiking by myself. Hope to find a partner along the way. My load is heavier than I thought at 33 lbs. so I'm trying to get rid of some stuff. I'm only section hiking so not sure about walking 12.5 miles to next shelter on the first days. I like to keep it to 10 early. My problem when my legs start getting use to the hike, its time to get off. I cant stay long b/c I'm the campground host at Elkmont in Nat Park starting May 15. Good luck.
