Thread: Car Move

    Default Car Move

I would like to drive down to Georgia this week to begin my AT thru hike but I would need to have the car back at the Dulles International Airport for my husband by 4-24 as he will be returning from a business trip. Are there any A.T. Services that will provide car moving at that great a distance and would it be extremely expensive to have this done. I could go down via bus or Amtrak I just prefer to drive and see the sites along the way.

Why not just rent a car and leave it in Atlanta?

The best that I could come up with is to leave your car at IAD
    then
Rent a car from Hertz picking it up at IAD and dropping it off in Gainesville GA
W/no discounts a Corrolla is $170.40 per day
If you can find a off airport Hertz location near you the rental will be cheaper

I would say you guys came thru!
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.
