Question Bangor to Baxter Shuttle, June 11

Any suggestions on shuttle services or anybody that could give me a ride? I was hoping to start my thru-hike then, and need a lift from the Train/Bus station.

Take the bus up to Medway, gets in about 745PM. The AT Lodge will pick you up, put you up for th night, and take you in to Katahdin Stream the next day, Lots cheaper than a shuttle.

Sounds good, but I'm fairly oblivious. What bus to Medway? Is it just normal public transportation?

Just in case you arent up to speed, there is no train to Bangor and there are now multiple bus stops at different locations depending on what bus line you are taking

Don't know exactly where in NC you're starting from But US Airways does fly into Bangor -BGR - and although it's a little expensive -$450.00 mean price RDU to BGR it will save you a day of travel

You need to determine if this bus is Greyhound or a Cyr bus. Big difference once you get to BGR.

I've been emailing Phil from 100milewilderness.info, and their "all inclusive" thing sounds like a good option, especially with the extra resupply option in the wilderness. Any opinions or review on these guys?

I may be coming into Bangor on that same day. I am driving a rental car and dropping it off at the airport and then getting a shuttle. I think right now we are both looking at the same options. Send me a message if you are interested in doing this together.
