    Default Jennings Creek to Pearisburg

Headed out Monday for Jennings Creek to Pearisburg section hike. Can anyone share any highlights of this section?

Very nice hike - after crossing I-81 & leaving Daleville, highlights include McAfee Knob, Tinker Cliffs, Dragon's Tooth, Keffer Oak, rocky slopes along narrow ridges, some easy, some harder up-and-down, some field crossings for variety. I hiked it in early April ('05) when the leaves weren't out yet and really enjoyed it. Even with this year's early Spring, you'll still encounter a fair amount of wildflowers.
