need youth gear

My children (8 &10yr old) come to me and say that they want to take a family backpacking trip. i want to take them but i don't want to spend multiple hundreds of dollars on what could be a one time thing. does any one have any youth gear they want to donate or sell reasonable to me so i can take my kids. Sleeping bags and backpacks and whatever else. i have all my own stuff. let me know if anyone is able to help out thanks
