What do you think about the excuse his family member has posted for his actions?

An oxy-snortin' preacher that got electrocuted. Imagine that. Probably was cooking "supper".

Some way, some how, this is going to be society's fault.

Can't find the link to the old article but, from another board how marines handle it.

    Marine Stabbed by Suspected Shoplifter
    November 27, 2010
    Associated Press

AUGUSTA, Ga. - A U.S. Marine reservist collecting "Toys for Tots" was stabbed when he helped stop a suspected shoplifter in eastern Georgia. Best Buy sales manager Orvin Smith told The Augusta Chronicle that a man was seen on surveillance cameras Friday putting a laptop under his jacket at the Augusta store. When confronted, the man became irate, knocked down an employee, pulled a knife and ran toward the door. Outside were four Marines collecting toys for the service branch's "Toys For Tots"
program. Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of them, Cpl. Phillip Duggan, in the back. The cut did not appear to be severe. The suspect was transported to the local hospital with two broken arms, a broken leg, possible broken ribs, assorted lacerations and bruises he obtained when he fell trying to run, after stabbing the Marine. The suspect, whose name was not released, was held until police arrived.
The Richmond County Sheriff's office said it is investigating.

Here in Alabama, Christmas would have come early for this guy. He would have been taken for a sleigh ride. Everybody knows it doesn't have to be Christmas time to go for a sleigh ride in Bama.

On the internet. We're Marines for a reason, and it's the same reason there's so many less of us.

ahh Rickb, I prefer the fabrication.....
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Funny how some marines always boast about how tough they are but
never hear army rangers and special forces guys do that. If you are bad ass you don't need to.
