I just got into Jeff & Regina's Green Mountain Hiker Hostel. Fabulous place. They know exactly what hikers need.

I started in Williamstown 5 days ago, heading north tomorrow.

I took a head first face-plant off the rocks coming down to Rt. 9. Luckily landed in some hemlock boughs. No broken bones, still hiking.

Planning a Sobo End to End beginning Sept. 16th. Very Very excited!This will be my last major shake down hike for my 2013 thru hike attempt. Hope to see many of you on the trail. Oh I End to Ended way back in 1982 with my wife Kathy(no trail names back then)
