    Default Pettingell Peak/Vasquez Peak section

    Pretty sure I already know the answer to this, but it would be a very bad idea to do this section in late October/early November, right?

    May not be the most fun.

    Not enough snow for winter. rec....a chance of a little too much for enjoyable hiking.

    Gonna be cold and short day light hours, too.

    I thought as much. Is there any decent way to hike from the Green Mountain Reservoir to Denver?
