    Default Whistle Stop Cafe, VT 103, change of hours

    New hours for the Whistle Stop Cafe, a half mile from the trail crossing of VT103 has changed hours effective early June. It is now closed at 2:30pm. (I was there at 4:30 and nothing but locked doors.)

    Ohhhh.....what great memories I have of this place! KILLER breakfast. Huge omlets. Great home fries. Close to the trail. Breakfast and then waddle up the trail!

    Open at 6:30AM closes 2:30PM and CLOSED on Monday!!!!!

    Went there in early July 2012. The place is for sale but was still open with great food (I had breakfast). Note the closing hours mentioned above. I hope a similar hiker friendly buyer takes it over and keeps the place going. It is a nice treat and not that far a walk off the trail (at least there is a good shoulder on the road to safely walk on).
