    Default scroggins knob

    hey guys im doing a short 2 day hike from cr153 up to my cabin, about 2 miles past 515/76 and i was wondering if there was a good place to camp arounf scroggins knob

    There is. If you are going south from US76 about 1.4 miles past Scroggin Knob (there may not be much of a view at this time of year) you will come to a side trail that may be flagged with orange tape (it was last couple of times I was there) which leads down to a water source and small camp site. If it is dry up there this year, the water may be gone. In dry seasons I would probably just haul water from Laurel Creek up and stay at the old home site which is 1 mile past Scroggin Knob.
