Default Trail conditions in NY & NJ ??

I'm looking to do a day hike in either Wawayanda Park in NJ
or Harriman Park in NY. NYNJTC site still says the
AT is closed in Wawayanda and doesnt list AT as
one of the re-opened trails in Harriman but latest update
was Nov 30. Does anyone know if the AT has been
reopening in either or both parks or if there are sections
    we should avoid?

I hiked the AT NoBo on Nov 18th through Wawayanda. All the trees were cleared except one big 75-100 foot one that fell on the trail lengthwise. I was able to go around it. That tree is just west of the creek (about midway between Pinwheel Vista and Barrett Rd.) It might be tougher with snow on the ground, but I am very surprised the trails are closed for "safety concerns."

Wawayanda State Park is now open, according to Park HQ. Hiking there tomorrow.
