A Sawyer in-line water filter and a hammock is all you need.

and some sea salt because regular salt sucks. (unless it is kosher Celtic salt.. )

Amusing that this follows hard on the heels on the hike report in post #190, and related banter.

And now I'm off for a hike. Yesterday the mosquitoes like to carry me away. Hopefully there will be a bit of a breeze today.

I've often referred to Montana skeeters as a terradactyl variety. Watch out for those cute little Horribilis

Your right, it seemed to get redundant by page 3 and stopped reading. Wasn't making a negative statement, but you've got to admit it's a bit wierd, seeing so many who love the outdoors, spending so many hours everyday chatting online. Every now and then I'll check this site out to see if there's any new useful info, but it's reads more like a chat room full of bickering. You do as you please, I could care less, just crazy times I guess.

this is what we do when we're not on the trail. and most of us spend considerable time hiking, by the way.both activities help keep some perspective on sanity and whats really important.and we like too argue a bit, but its just like kids arguing about their favorite baseball teams, regardless of which team we support, we all love baseball.
and its a great place to learn about the sawyer in line water filter!
Bingo, just chewing the fat, spinning some yarn, later we'll knit, hehehe

but yeah who cares, there's plenty of other threads here with great information for the taking......no one need suffer.
