    Default Hiker Hostel For Sale

    Leigh and I are putting the Hiker Hostel up for sale.
    We enjoy what we do but feel it is time to move into the next part of our lives (quasi-retirement). It will most likely take sometime to find owners we feel can take care of the hikers (and all of our guest) . The Hostel will NOT be closing. Just transitioning. (hopefully whoever buys will let us help out during thru hiker season)

    All the very best for the future. Your hostel is one of the strongest recommendations I have received from Aussies that have hiked the AT.
    I still intend to spend my night (or 2) before my 2013 hike there.
    Hope the new owners still do shuttles....

    First place i ever had grits in my life! (I now crave grits!)
    Thankyou both for making the start of my journey so enjoyable ,and welcoming me into your hostel and the shuttle ride to Amicalola.

    We do not have any online listing. If people are interested they can email and we will send the info they want. I doubt we will have sold by Hiker season 2013. Even so We will be around to help the new owners.

    If I were 20 years younger, had the money I have now, and a lot more idealistic about hikers I'd jump on this.

    Having stayed there myself this is more like buying a business than taking over somebody's labor of love. I would bet my front teeth that Profile can provide cash flow statements, balance sheet and very good records for a serious buyer.

    Absolutely have everything on computer. The hostels books have been kept in Quickbooks since the start and all taxes are done by CPA.
