That was an early one!!
Don't remember it. Only familiar with the "bigger" Bruce Lee movies.
The 60's and 70's may have had the best music but face it, we had some pretty crap movies.
Given our geographic location, fair to say we get more info on South East Asia than you guys.
Pretty sure it's Thai boxing most places but Chinese means more to the American market and Tinseltown.
Even Katahdin is pretty damn uninviting this morning, although there is some image.

I've never seen that before...very cool
I love the Katahdin webcam!
I have that one, Mt W Observatory and this one bookmarked.

Have resigned myself to not being able to get one for Springer.
The twin pines one is actually across a lake.
Totally different scene in summer.
I have an image from across the lake on my iPhone. I figure if my feet flag, I can hold my phone out like a carrot.
We had a pleasant 27C yesterday and 29 today.
34,37,38 for next three and then some relief back into mid/high 20's again.
Hopefully the last sustained heat wave is behind us.
Several fires around today again. Smallish ones so no real problem.
Reminds me - I'm just gonna check and see if I can get an update on possible damage to the Bib by the one down south last week.
I hear that! I actually can't wrap my mind around anything beyond Neels (with some mental energy expended on the Smokies).I think I'll just concentrate on each days target.
The Katahdin images can wait to the end.
Sorry to hear that, Oz. Do they get a lot of wildfires in that area?
Took these photos there on my thruhike in 2011.

Far too many.
Eucalypt forest sheds a lot of bark and leaves etc year long. It generally doesn't "rot down" like leaves in a deciduous forest and builds up in what is referred to as a "fuel load".
Control to prevent rampant fires is to "control" burn small sections in the cooler seasons. Due to a couple that got away (i.e. became uncontrolled) and destroyed a lot of property DEC (our forestry department) have been overly cautious in their controlled burns. Along with a lack of funding for them (your Forest Service can no doubt relate) this means fuel loads are very high pretty much everywhere.
At least this fire was caused by lightning strike so we don't have any undesirables to hunt down.
Sounds like a hard situation to manage, especially with funds being as tight as they are these days.
Well, hopefully you'll be leaving the wildfires behind in another few weeks!
