    Default Opinions on these poles

I was wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with these trekking poles? Are they any good should I puchase them?

never heard of them but the price is sure right. Looks like cork handles. I would go for it.

Looks like Pace Makers are sold at www.trekkingpoles.com

Here's a press release they did in February:

No telling what the quality is. Sometimes it's worth spending money on good equipment or known brand. They tend to treat their customers better when problems arise.

No - I would pass these are the same quality as wally world and after having the shocks - I prefer without.... at the moment I have a pair of modified LL beans (found on the AT trail)

if you can get them try one with lever locks and no shock
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I'm on the opposite side from Wise Old Owl and prefer anti-shock poles. By golly, the springs saved me from snapping 'em in half so many times! heheheheheeee.......

I do agree with WOO on the quality issue however.
