pearisburg va, parking and directions

I'm doing a 3 day hike from Johns Creek Valley to Pearisburg. I'm driving to Johns Creek and getting picked up in Pearisburg. Where would the best place for my ride to meet me and how could I direct them there? My guide book said something about a grocery store across from the trail but it was pretty vague. Thanks!

The best place to meet your ride would be the Rendezvous Motel, the trail goes right by there. It's the best place that we have found to meet and park in Pearisburg.
