Now I'm curious too! What a cool guy and a great story! I met him when my backpacking group had a trail magic picnic at Pen Mar, early June.

Hmmm, so he didn't make such great progress from end of June to mid-August, at least not on the trail. Wishing him the best, praying he received his wished-for epiphany and hoping our paths cross again some day.
