Default Help scientists with predicting weather in future superstorms

Sandy is offering scientists a unique opportunity to improve weather prediction by analyzing where the water in this storm is coming from (the hurricane or the inland storm that merged with it). If you live anywhere inland in WV, VA, NC, TN, you have an opportunity to help by sampling rain/snow water for them:

If you're stuck in bad weather anyway, might as well help people learn more about it!
I always know where I am. I'm right here.

If they (the scientists) get it wrong, we can always sue them.

Seriously, good luck to all you Easterners in the path of this storm.

I live on the MD/PA line at the top of the Chesapeake Bay. They eye of Sandy is predicted to pass right over here. We're gonna get whacked, I figure we'll loose power soon and will be with out for a few days. It's pouring now and the winds are picking up, and it will only get worse.
My greatest concern is trees fallen and hitting the house!
Hope no one is on the trail in the mid-Atlantic states!

Just crazy to sentence scientists to prison for manslaughter....just crazy.
