    :banana Hurricane Sandy Trail Angels

I have been hearing about several folks offering refuge for hikers during this difficult time to be out on the trail. Kudos to all of you Trail Angels!
    You are never too old.

The Captain saved our butts the other night. I am so grateful for his kindness.

Been staying at my cousins near gatlinburg since last Saturday, he offered to take me in when I was fine with sleeping on the ground in gatlinburg while the storm passed and the snow melted. Truly, truly thankful and lucky to have such an amazing relative/trail magician.
