Default Parking Question for North GA.

I'm looking at doing a overnight with a friend. I was think about starting at Dally Gap, Watson Gap, or Dyer Gap and go north to US Hwy 64. Will it be safe to park the car overnight at any of the locations?

you are talking about the Benton McKaye Trail. You can park at Thunder Rock Campground on the Ocoee without problems. I've also parked at Dally Gap and had no issues.

Yes I'm talking about BMT. I was looking at having my wife pick use up at Thunder Rock. But may park one car at Thunder Rock and drive a second to Start point. Just looking for a good park area for the start.

I've parked at Dally Gap. I have no experience with the other spots.

There isn't good parking that I recall at Dyer Gap or Watson Gap. I've never checked the parking at Dally Gap. A friend of mine did park at the Jacks River Camping area and walked to the trail from there. That is probably a good option for you.
