    You did nor give me enough options, it would only let me check one, I was in two branches, active duty, national guard and reserves.

    I know it wasn't the intent of the post but...let us not forget those that fought for freedom in the great wars and those who fought to contain communism in Korea and Viet Nam -- 72% of the U.S. military in WW I were draftees, making up half of those in the trenches in France -- more than 10 million (66% of the military, well over 90% of the Army) were draftees in WW II -- 30% of the force during Korea were draftees -- and more than 1.7 million were drafted, 1965-1973, accounting for 38% of Viet Nam combat deaths. And then there were those who, facing imminent draft, 'volunteered' for service. They all stood for our freedom, served when called and, many, too many performed their duty giving the ultimate sacrifice.

    i understand,but reserves can be navy,army,air force,all branches have reserves

    Likewise. Started out Air Force, and ended up in the Air National Guard.
