Tiva Terra Fi 3

has anyone tried using the Tiva Terra Fi 3 sandals for a thru hike or really any long distance hiking? I'm considering getting them for my 2013 thru hike.

I have hiked in Teva Terra Fi II, not for an entire thru though. I used them on the AT for about 500-600 miles and a few other hikes. I haven't made a personal inspection of the Terra Fi III's but they look very similar to the Terra Fi II. I rarely hike in them now. I much prefer Keen sandals. I have given reasons for doing so on this thread
