As a boundary monitor, and dog owner, I'm interested.
Please keep us informed on your success with this technique.
Are you putting your dog on a high aluminum diet or are you training him/her to sense the magnet that's attached to the back of the monument?
All joking aside, my wife and I have gotten great satisfaction finding monuments that even professional surveyors couldn't find.

That is awesome! How deep are the monuments buried that your dog can find? Your pooch is going to be in high demand with this skill!
