Happy bday Jerry. This was the start of my day today. Well I listened to a little bit older show from September of 70, but this is a nice version I found on youtube.

Default link to streaming video of Jerry's 70th Birthday party at Bob's studio

    Hey Now-

Thought some of you might enjoy watching the concert footage and intertwined documentary from the 70th Birthday party thrown for Jerry Garcia at Bob Weir's tri-studio a few years ago. It is being re-broadcast in HD every night this week at 10PM EST, 7 PM West Coast time at the following link:

    http://www.tristudios.com/

Interviews are conducted by Luke Wilson with three of Jerry's daughters, Bobby (of course), Billy Kreutzmann, Neal Casal (Ryan Adams & the Cardinals), Perry Ferrel, Mountain Girl, Donna Jean Godcheaux, Jim Lauderdale, Lucas Nelson, Bill Walton, Mike Gordon, and much much more. Apparently Bob held a multi-day rehearsal/training session with the younger musicians to pass the torch, so to speak. Any fan of the music or history of the band will appreciate this film, which was put together by Billy Kreutzmann's son.

Enjoy! It streams every night at 10 pm EST from now until 8/9.

I love the Dead, just think that's a funny joke. Read it a while back in an article about the missing dead tapes. You should check it out, it's a pretty good read.
