    Ditto the thanks; now I just need to find local folks that actually want to do winter/early-spring backpacking trips! I listed a pretty easy overnight snowshoe trip for our very large local outdoor club for this weekend, but cancelled it due to absolutely zero sign-ups.

    Will be interesting to see how NOLS handles this topic, and how much this is in fact a winter "Camping" book vs. a winter backpacking book.
