Anyone else arriving in Gainesville on April 2nd?

Hey, so I'm arriving at the Gainesville Amtrak station on April 2nd at 7AM, and I was wondering if anyone already had transportation plans to Amicalola/Springer.

If yes, could I share that shuttle (willing to split the cost), and if not, if they wanted to share a Unitaxi ride with me?

That was my original start date but i had to push it back a few days.

I thought about pushing it back since I really wanted to stay at the Hiker Hostel, but since they are all booked up until the 5th, I figure that I'll just suck it up and go directly from Traveling to the Trail.

I will be starting with one other person with a shuttle arranged from Amtrak to FS42 on the 11th of April. Cost $80 to be split between anyone going. [email protected]

You're right, I might get lucky that way.

I'm taking the Amtrak 19 Crescent from New York, so I'll have lots of time to walk around the train and try to spot fellow hikers.
