Osprey Volt Weight

I bought an Osprey Volt last weekend. On the tag, it says 3lbs 9oz. I just weighed it here at home, and it weighs exactly 4 lbs. I feel like that is a huge difference, and am wondering if it's common for packs to be that far off. To me it's a huge discrepancy.

The quoted weight (and capacity) for Osprey packs are based on the medium size of each model. If you have a large, that would explain the difference.

My Volt 75 (large) arrived today. My scale says 3lbs 12oz.

Haha, forgot to post that my wife had snuck something in the pack unbeknownst to me. So the listed weight ended up being correct!
