Don't understand "doesn't fit"? Just stick light tube in water, including two pins, turn on and swish around.

"Doesn't fit" means that the opening of the bottle is too small to fit the tube and sensors into the bottle.

I use a Nalgene canteen. Or sometimes I carry a smart water bottle with the top cut off. I scoop the water, treat with the steripen and pour into my other smart water bottle. Weighs almost nothing.
