Hey! My parents are in Norwich, so I'm in the area quite a bit. What kind of writing do you like doing? I'm also a writer, when I get the chance. Good luck and hope to see you on the Trail!

Going solo, looking for a great rewarding experience, have read about the good people one meets on the trail. Looking forward to new long lasting friendships.
Just want to pop in and say good luck to everyone this year, really wish I was able to relive my 2012 thru with y'all but it wasn't in the cards this year so looks like I'll be living vicariously through you guys (and gals). Hike your own hike!
There's no reward at the end for the most miserable thru-hiker.
After gear you can do a thru for $2,000.
No training is a substitute for just going and hiking the AT. You'll get in shape.
