    How's the water situation looking this year in the desert? Is it really as dry as I'm hearing?

    yes. Read the PCT water report and you'll see what's running and what's dry.

    Yeah, Halfmile knows what's up. This is getting updated multiple times a day now. It also includes other important information, like "don't wander far off-trail at mile 26-32 or drug farmers will shoot you," or "there are no milkshakes at Lake Morena for the time being." The latter is really the most disturbing news I've heard in the whole lead-up to my hike.

    What's the site with % averages per year? I remember looking at it awhile ago and it was like 30%, but I can't find it now.
