Rifle carved his name but I don't think he used a sharpie, did he? Apparently there is a guy out there using a sharpie, trail name- Movie Star.

I agree Mom, don't really think thinking about it much enters into the equation for them at the time....they have blinders on. Not an excuse...just looking at it from the outside. the reason i say this is because it's so egreiou,s and they look so happy with themselves...it's just not clicking in for them.

The difference here is that this is not private property that is being tagged...its public property that belongs to everyone.

I was following Acorn's blog for a little while. I sent her a message with a link to this thread and asked her not to tag the shelters or trail. I hope she changes her behavior.

I met the kid in Jan, largely clueless and unlikely to continue hiking anyway so any condemnation is meaningless - other wise change the log-in name and waa la - a new start - at the time of year he was out, very few people even met him
