Some 2013 campground openings delayed.

The Park Tote road is open to Nesowadnehunk Field Campground. The Roaring Brook Road is open to the game sanctuary line. Park roads in the Matagamon area are open to Trout Brook Farm. Roads will continue to be opened as soon as they are firm. All Katahdin and Traveler Loop trails are closed to hiking until fragile alpine zones are snow free and firm. Roaring Brook Campground, Russell Pond Campground, South Branch Pond Campground and those areas' outlying sites will open on May 18th.
