Parking and shuttle along I84 in NY

I am actually Glory Bound's dad, planning on hiking with him for a few days as he continues to head north. I am looking for info on parking and shuttling in NY and thinking about parking at Stormville, NY and getting shuttled down I84 to High Point(hwy 23). My target day is Monday July 18. Anyone have information that might help?
