Heard the news today from Roy Row one of his recent hiling partners
George aka Highlander was our hiking partner until I got off the trail with a leg problem at Newfound Gap
We hiked together from our start on 4-3...almost a month
He was so much fun to hike with--he could and did talk to everyone about everything
    I'm still in shock
He did the PCT in 2005 and was a strong hiker
He will be missed by anyone who ever met him...that kind of guy
When we saddled up to hike again...it was "Onward McDuff!"
