    Default NOBO Norovirus

The Norovirus that inflicted about 80% of the hikers I met on my spring SOBO hike in April is now in Pennsylvania.

PA Rocks and the Norovirus.............thru hikers that can make it on their thru this year should get an extra 2000 Miler rocker from the ATC

im thinking the 3rd or 4th week of august. i dont realistically think i can hike thru to damascus, so i may start where i left off last year on chairback mountain head south for 2-3 weeks. ive climbed the big K 4 times already,up and down and in and out of bsp is a pain and its no joy doing it when you dont have trail legs yet, starting at gulf hagas, resupply is fairly easy, can travel light, hike south for 2 or 3 weeks,do the carters and end at pinkham notch. come home and finish the book.
